Websites and online stores: common questions
Why not €400, like the cheapest offers?
Because for €400 you get a bought template filled in over two days, with no technical SEO and no measurement. It works as a brochure, and if that is what you need, we genuinely recommend the cheaper option. We build websites that have to generate enquiries, and that takes structure, copy and measurement.
WordPress or something else?
It depends on who updates the content. If you publish every week, a properly built WordPress site is the right choice. If you have ten pages that change twice a year, we build a static site: it loads instantly, it cannot be hacked through a plugin and there is nothing to update every month.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I change my website?
Not if the move is done properly. We list every old URL, set up a 301 redirect to the equivalent new page and notify Google Search Console. Your rankings carry over. Without redirects you lose them all, which is why redirects come first on the list, not last.
Can I edit the text myself afterwards?
Yes. We train you at handover and give you a written guide. If you would rather not touch it, monthly maintenance covers small changes.
What does the €90 a month cover?
Hosting on our infrastructure, the SSL certificate, backups tested by real restores, security updates and small content changes. It is not a fee for permission to use what you paid for: if you prefer, we hand over the website and you can host it wherever you like.
