1. Who we are

arhai.ro is operated by ARHAI SRL, a company registered in Romania, with its seat in Oradea, Bihor county. Full identification details are in the privacy policy. Contact: contact@arhai.ro, 0750 265 636.

2. What this site is

A presentation site. Nothing is sold directly here: there is no cart, no online payment and no contract concluded by pressing a button. The forms on this site are requests for a quote, not orders.

3. The prices shown

Prices on the service pages are starting thresholds, in Romanian lei, excluding VAT, valid for projects of ordinary complexity. They are not a binding offer. The final price is set after the analysis conversation and written into the contract, together with the deadline. A quote already sent in writing stays valid for 30 days.

4. How a project runs

1. The analysis conversation — free, about 45 minutes. You leave with a diagram of the process and a price, whether or not we work together.
2. The written quote — what we build, what we do not build, fixed price, fixed deadline.
3. The contract — signed before any work starts.
4. Delivery — on the contracted date. If we misjudged the effort, the extra cost is ours, not yours.
5. Handover — full source code, documentation, database schema and installation instructions.

5. Payment

Standard: 50% on signing, 50% on acceptance of the deliverables. Longer projects are split into stages. We invoice with a fiscal invoice, transmitted through the Romanian e-Factura system as required by law. Monthly subscriptions (hosting, monitoring, maintenance) are invoiced monthly in advance and can be stopped with 30 days' notice.

6. Ownership of the code

On full payment, the economic copyright in the code written for you is transferred to you. You can continue with another team at any time without asking us.

Normal industry exceptions: open-source libraries stay under their own licences; our reusable components, developed previously and used across projects, are licensed to you perpetually and non-exclusively for your project but remain ours; our own subscription products (Leaply, Înscrie.ro, Mecanio) involve no code transfer — there you buy a subscription, not a development.

7. Warranty

For the AI voice agent: you test it yourself with ten real calls before any invoice. If it handles fewer than eight out of ten correctly, you pay nothing and we delete everything.

For any delivery: 90 days of free remediation of defects against the contracted specification. The warranty covers implementation errors. It does not cover new features, changed requirements, modifications made to the code by third parties, or failures caused by external services (tax authority, couriers, payment processors) changing their interface without notice — we fix those, but they are new work.

8. Hosting and availability

Applications we host run on dedicated infrastructure in the European Union, with continuous monitoring and daily backups. We target 99.5% monthly availability, excluding maintenance windows announced at least 48 hours in advance. We do not guarantee the operation of third-party services your application depends on.

9. Liability

Our contractual liability is limited to the amounts actually received from you for the project in question in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages. This limitation does not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, where the law does not permit limitation.

10. Intellectual property in the site

The text, images, structure and code of this site are ours. You may quote short extracts with a link to the source. You may not copy whole pages, articles or the structure of the site for a competing site.

11. External links

This site links to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content.

12. Personal data

See the privacy policy and the cookie policy. When we process personal data on your behalf as part of a project, we sign a separate data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.

13. Resolving disagreements

We try to settle things directly first — write to contact@arhai.ro and we reply within five working days. Failing agreement, the courts of Oradea, Bihor county, have jurisdiction. Romanian law applies.

If you are a consumer, you may also contact the Romanian consumer protection authority (anpc.ro), including for alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

14. Changes

We may update this page. The version in force is the one published here, with the date above. Changes do not affect contracts already signed.
